Is successful life all about following the rulebook?

Is successful life all about following the rulebook?

Let's break this question down into tiny chunks that are relatively easier to answer:

How do you want your life to look like?

What does success mean to you?

When/How would you decide your life is successful?

What are you planning to do with your life after you declare your success?

Does this success come with an expiry date? If so, do you want to renew it? And what needs to be done to renew it?

What are you willing to compromise in this journey towards a successful life? And what are your non-negotiables?

Do you have a step by step plan or a list of action items to do along with the deadline to complete them all?

What are the unknowns?

If any of the action item takes longer than your planned time, how flexible are you to rephrase your plan without being harsh on yourself?

If for some unforeseen reasons, you are unable to meet your success standards, what do you wanna do next?

What's your plan for self care all along this journey?

What else are you missing to consider in your plan? Is there any loophole? Do you need guidance from anyone who is an expert in what you are looking to do?

Sit down in a calm place, place both your hands on your heart, observe your breath, connect to your body and wait to receive answers for each of these questions and also additional guidance that you never realised that you needed.

Note down all this guidance in a sheet of paper. And if you call this as a rulebook, then by all means please follow this rulebook :)
